Peter Foster's passion for the culinary arts began at the age of 15, when he was working as a dish washer in a restaurant in his home town, Los Gatos, California. Inspired by that passion, he attended the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. After graduation, Peter was recruited by a German firm, Zihoga, to work in the kitchen of St. Peter, a restaurant located in a small wine growing valley south of Cologne. While he was there, the restaurant earned its second Michelin star. Peter has worked under world class chefs in New York, San Francisco, Europe, and here in Hawaii. From all this experience, he knows that he can never stop learning and expanding his vision of the culinary arts.

Heather Olsen's experience includes 5 years as a decorated concierge at the luxury Halekulani resort and hotel, where she gained invaluable knowledge of the best venues and purveyors of services on the island. Heather plans events and now works full time providing public relations for Memoirs. Her drive to accommodate the client's desires down to the finest detail and her people pleasing demeanor make Heather a valuable contribution to the Memoirs team.
